Hand rearing puppies and kittens

One of the things we specialise in is hand rearing puppies and kittens including cleft palate/ lip. There are many situations were a puppy or kitten may need to be hand reared;

  • If a puppy of kitten is born with a cleft palate.

  • If the mum rejects the puppies or kittens.

  • If the mum passes away.

  • If the mum develops mastitis.

  • If the puppy is failing to thrive or unable to suckle from mum.
