How you can Get Involved

Fostering

We use foster homes for all our animals as this ensures they are well used to family life. All animals are assessed, flea, wormed and photographed before moving to a foster home. Our foster homes are vital so that the rescue can function.

BECOME A FOSTERER

Transport

We often need help transporting animals to and from the vets, foster homes and our base in Waterloo.

We often get notified of emergency situations and need transport for sick or injured cats at short notice.

If you would like to be added to our list of drivers then please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page.

Homechecking

Before any of our animals leave for their forever home we conduct a house visit with the potential family. This is not a spot check on peoples cleaning etc but a chance to chat with the family, ask questions to ensure everyone is happy and give a chance for adopteers to ask questions. We are always on the look out for people to help with homechecks across Merseyside and the Wirral. Please contact us if you think you can help using the form at the bottom of this page.

Fundraising

We are often running stalls, car boots, street collections and tombolas and always need people to help run these events.

We also encourage people to come up with their own fun and creative ways to fund raise for the charity.
If you want to hold an event or see how you can help email our team at fundraising@rescueme.org.uk
